YSL Beauty has launched a new make-up collection for spring called The Street and I. Inspired by the contrasting bright and dark colours of graffiti on city street walls, the collection features vibrant shades – pinks, oranges, corals and reds – offset by greys and whites.
In addition to cutesy-sounding lipsticks, nail paints and eye make-up, the collection features a brand-new product: the Baby Doll Kiss & Blush Duo Stick. This multitasker features two complementary shades that can either be used together or separately to add a dash of colour to your lip, cheeks or both. There is also the beautifully packaged I Have a Blush On You compact that holds a bright orange powder blush that can be worn sheer or layered on for a bolder look.
The Keep An Eye on Me palette is a quintuple of shadows – which features four bright shades, in keeping with the spring feel of the collection, but also comes with a dark grey that can be used either to smoke out the edges, or as an eyeliner. There is also YSL’s luxury eyeliner pencil, Dessin Du Regard, in pink and orange for those adventurous enough. Set that off by lining your lower lash line with a white eyeliner, which also creates the illusion of larger eyes.
The lips get a seasonal makeover with new shades in the iconic Rouge Volupte Shine range, and two new additions to the Gloss Volupte line. Vandal Orange, Asphalt Grey and Blanc Arty – three new hues for your tips and toes help complete the look.
