A fight broke out on Thursday night between two Emirati families in Ras Al Khaimah, RAK Police reported. The dispute was fuelled by personal discord between the families and resulted in a number of minor injuries and one moderate injury. The police were able to break up the fight and contain the situation. The incident is under investigation and the necessary measures have been taken. RAK Police have urged the public to avoid this kind of behaviour, which reflects badly on the UAE’s traditions and values, disturbs the peace and security of the community and renders the offenders liable to prosecution under the law. People should call police to resolve any conflict or tension peacefully, away from any violence or fighting.
