Alber Elbaz, the creative director of Lanvin, will stage an exhibition about the fashion house, in Paris in September.

Exploring the natural link between fashion and photography, the show will feature over 350 images that capture the behind-the-scenes work of creating a fashion show. From sketches to model fittings, and backstage at the shows themselves, the exhibition will feature photography by But Sou Lai, Mark Leibowitz, James Bort and even Lanvin’s art director and senior stylist, Katy Reiss. These images will offer a unique glimpse into this rarefied world.

Alter Elbaz/Lanvin Manifeste runs at Maison Europeenne de la Photographie, Paris, from September 9 to October 31.
