‘Avenue at Etihad Towers’ – Abu Dhabi’s first standalone high-end luxury shopping destination had it's official opening last night, and we popped in to have a look and give our support to what is a unique and exciting development for fashion in the region. We couldn't help but feel a little bit satisfied in the knowledge we are catching up with Dubai's vast shopping reputation as we took a walk through the spectacular setting for some of the worlds most important labels. Special edition pieces or collections were on view at A. Lange & Söhne, Givenchy, Piaget, and Rolex while at Lanvin an artist drew sketches of guests, and limited edition chocolates from Florence were handed out at Salvatore Ferragamo. We can't recommend a visit enough even if it is simply to windowshop...
