In a video that’s quickly gone viral, a pilot in French Guiana manages to capture quite an extraordinary scene: a stowaway cat getting the ride of a lifetime on a micro-light plane.

Around the 40-second mark, the black-and-white kitty can be seen in the corner making his way towards the pilot and passenger. For a little bit, the moggy goes unnoticed until the pilot does a double take (which can be seen around the minute mark), clearly surprised by the appearance of the little daredevil hanging on for dear life. The passenger also eventually notices but both decide to keep calm so as not to scare it away.

For the most part, despite being a little terrified in the beginning, the cat seems to take it well. The pilot than makes an early descent and the feline is safely returned to the ground.
