The Ice Warrior Challenge at Ski Dubai is gearing up for its fifth season. This year’s challenge will see athletes race through a course of obstacles that will put their physical and mental endurance to the test. Racers will have to make their way over ice walls, climb tangled ropes, navigate lorry tyres, shovel snow (the worst!) and for the first time in the challenge, they’ll also have to take on a 1982 Chevy automobile set on top of the snowy hills. For the car challenge, competitors will have to use their hands to dig a hole in the snow so they can crawl under the car from one side to the other.

The Ice Warrior Challenge is a charity event to help children with disabilities. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Dubai Centre for Special Needs. The top female and top male competitor will receive a flight to Amsterdam and a two-night stay at the largest ski dome in the world: Snow World Landgraaf. They'll also win some pretty sweet bragging rights with the Ice Warrior 2014 title.

Every racer will receive giveaways, vouchers from Ski Dubai and have a chance to win a flight to any destination in Europe, courtesy of Air France and KLM.

The event will be held Saturday, November 1 at 8am. Those interested can compete as individuals or in teams of five. Registration to participate is now open at www.premieronline.com.
