Remember The Dude? Y'know, that loveable, lactose-loving slacker at the centre of Coen Brothers' cult farce The Big Lebowski.
The Dude’s ability to inspire frankly bewildering levels of devotion is evident all over the world – just Google the pictures from Kentucky’s annual Lebowski Fest or London’s The Dude Abides convention for proof.
But now Dude-fever has reached the UAE, with Abu Dhabi to host what is widely believed to be the first Big Lebowski-themed party.
Taking place on Friday May 1 at the Ramada Downtown, the night promises bowling, a quiz based on the movie, prizes for the best Dude costume, and specials on his favorite beverages.
The night is hosted by Yalla Laughs and is entirely free to enter. Abide that.
