Dozens of celebrities have begun rolling into the UAE this weekend to attend or perform at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and associated events. Here are a few to watch out for:
Tyrese Gibson, star of Furious 7 and a big fan of the UAE, is the latest to announce an appearance, at Rush Yas Viceroy on Friday. "It's really about to happen..... #AbuDhabi are yall ready???????" he tweeted late on Wednesday before his plane took off.
Kim Kardashian is arguably the most famous face to be attending the festivities. She will host an event at the VIP Room pop-up club at Radisson Blu Yas, on Sunday (and move on to Dubai on Monday, appearing at the Toko Restaurant & Lounge in the Vida Downtown; she is also due at Parfum Monde, the world’s largest perfume showroom, to launch her sixth fragrance, Fleur Fatale.
It’s hard to imagine that Prince Harry would jet into Abu Dhabi and miss out on the F1 action. The fun-loving prince is due in town on Thursday for a charity game and dinner as part of the Sentebale Polo Cup at Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club in Abu Dhabi.
The former Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens is due in the capital. Although there is no official word of his participation in the F1, he will be attending Prince Harry’s charity game and dinner as part of the Sentebale Polo Cup in Ghantoot.
