Sia fans will be excited to hear that the popular Australian singer has been given the honour of closing the Dubai World Cup at Meydan Racecourse on March 25.
Organisers of the 22nd annual event announced the singer-songwriter as the headline act on Wednesday. She follows acts of previous years that have included Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue and Jennifer Lopez.
Sia's 70-minute performance will be limited to Dubai World Cup ticket holders. Sia, 41, is perhaps best known for her hit song Chandelier, which smashed the music charts in 2014 and put the platinum blonde on the map.
Since then she has created quite the trademark thanks to her bob and hidden face and lets the music speak for itself.
Sia's Dubai World Cup closing performance at the richest horse race around will be her first in Dubai. Tickets to the March 25 event start from Dh450 and are available online from www.store.meydan.ae
