The talk show host Jay Leno is the star of an advertisement for Tata Nano, which follows the journey of the automobile from a factory in India to the streets of Hollywood. The advert features a troupe of Indian dancers performing to a Bollywood-style number. Leno joins them, wearing an ivory sherwani created by the Indian designer Manav Gangwani. "I love the suit and so does my wife," Leno said. According to Gangwani, he sent a selection of designs to Leno, who then chose the ivory piece. "It's an absolute pleasure to be dressing Jay Leno. Yahoo! hosts online Indian film fest
Yahoo! India announced this week the launch of its first online retrospective from Vinod Chopra Films. Beginning this month until September, internet users have the opportunity to watch eight hit movies from the Bollywood studio: 3 Idiots, Munna Bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Parineeta, Parinda, Khamosh, Mission Kashmir and Kareeb. Shahid Kapoor denies Wanted sequel role
Shahid Kapoor has denied reports he is starring in the sequel of the 2009 action film Wanted, which was headlined by Salman Khan and directed by Prabhu Deva. "I don't think anyone can replace Salman Khan. I think just because Prabhu and I have been meeting up to do a film together, people are already jumping to conclusions that we're doing Wanted 2," Kapoor said. "But yes, we are very keen to work with each other. But these are all rumours, I have not said yes to anything." The 2002 film Devdas, which was recently named by Time magazine as one of the past decade's 10 best films, is getting the 3D treatment, announced its director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. "It's going to be 10 years since its release. It will look amazing in 3D," he said. "Just imagine Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit and Shah Rukh Khan in 3D in front of you. The lavish sets as well."
