Writer, director, producer and campaigner Richard Curtis (Four Weddings and a Funeral, Blackadder) is the key founder of the new Project Everyone campaign, which will be coming to cinemas in September of this year.
The campaign aims to make the UN’s new global goals for sustainable development, to be unveiled on September 25, 2015 in the presence of 193 famous leaders. The mission of the Global Goals campaign is to communicate the goals to “7 billion people in 7 days” following their launch at the UN.
To support this ambition, Project Everyone has entered into a founding partnership with SAWA (The Global Cinema Advertising Association), to launch what it claims is the first ever global cinema ad campaign. The partnership aims to utilise the power of cinema to engage the global cinema audience in the announcement of global goals to end poverty, injustice and climate change.
