A day after US rapper Tyga cancelled a show at one Dubai nightclub, a gig at a rival venue has been announced.

The Bedrock singer was all set to perform a show at People by Crystal on Saturday April 11, a gig which was was first postponed, and the cancelled altogether on Sunday April 4.

And then the full story emerged a day later, on Monday April 5, when rival club VIP Room announced that Tyga will instead be performing at their JW Marriott Marquis venue on Thursday April 9.

We can only assume he got a better offer.

“No one is more disappointed than the PEOPLE by Crystal team that we were not able to deliver what we believe would have been another great event,” said People in a statement, following Sunday’s cancellation. “We promise to make it up to you all very soon.”

The 25-year-old artist behind platinum-certified hits BedRock and Rack City, and has worked with heavyweights from Rick Ross and Lil Wayne to Chris Brown and Drake (who recently played a huge gig at Dubai International Stadium).

However the rhyme-smith known to his mum as Michael Ray Nguyen-Stevenson is also getting a lot of attention for his romantic relationship with the 17-year-old Kardashian sister Kylie Jenner.
