Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha are promoting their forthcoming 1950s romantic drama Lootera in a rather unique way - they feature on the covers of Mills & Boon (M&B) novels, according to the Hindustan Times. There is also a special Lootera edition featuring three books. The books were launched last week and are available across 5,000 outlets in major Indian cities. The Lootera edition comes with a bookmark, a vintage notepad and a pencil. "The most M&B thing I have done in my life is to have played out my part in Lootera," Singh said at the launch. "It is a romantic fantasy. The kind of love you see played out in Lootera is the kind of love you read about in the Mills and Boon books, which doesn't exist anymore." - The National staff

Jessica Simpson gives birth to baby boy

Jessica Simpson's representative confirmed that the entertainer gave birth to Ace Knute in Los Angeles on Sunday. This is the second child for Simpson and her fiance, Eric Johnson. Simpson gave birth to a daughter, Maxwell, last year. - AP

Mumford & Sons close Glastonbury Festival

Prabhu Deva and Shahid Kapoor dance to a new tune

India's "dancing king" Prabhu Dheva and the actor Shahid Kapoor will groove together for the first time for the film Rambo Rajkumar in a song called Gandi Baat. Prabhu Dheva, who is directing the movie, told Bollywood Celebden that Shahid is one of India's most talented performers. "I'm very excited about the song and Shahid and I are already rehearsing for it. Kanye to release first Yeezus single

Kanye West is prepping to release the first single from his new album Yeezus. The track, Black Skinhead, will come out on Thursday, reported Billboard. A music video is also in the works. Last week, West's producer Rick Rubin alluded to a possible Yeezus sequel. "Initially, he thought there were going to be 16 songs on the album," Rubin told Fuse.tv. "But that first day, before he even asked me to work on it, I said: 'Maybe you should make it more concise. Maybe this is two albums. Maybe this is just the first half.'" - The National staff
