Despite the fame and acclaim, the Nigerian popstars P-Square, remain brothers first.

Comprised of twins Peter and Paul Okoye, the duo has sold over 10 million albums throughout an eighteen year career that saw them collaborate with the likes of pop legends Jermaine Jackson and rapper T.I.

That said, Paul states like all sibling relationships, it is not all smooth sailing.

“Don’t get it twisted,” he said from the Mawazine Festival in the Moroccan capital Rabat on Sunday.

“My brother Peter here knows exactly what to do to upset me and I can do the same to him. We argue like everyone else but we are brothers and we always know that family come first.”

Peter displayed a lighter side of that rivalry during their storming festival performance later that evening.

“I just want to say that I am eight minutes older than Paul,” he said to the crowd.

“And Paul can be very stubborn.”

P-Square’s sixth and latest album, Double Trouble was released last year.

The Mawazine Festival runs until Saturday.
