Dhanush and Sonam full of praise for Rahman

The Tamil actor Dhanush, who's set to make his Bollywood debut with Anand L Rai's forthcoming film Raanjhanaa, wastes no words in praising the movie's Oscar-winning music composer, A?R Rahman. "He has given so much to the film," said the 29-year-old star. "What I wonder about him is how he strikes a balance, like when you listen to a Tamil song it sounds like a Tamil song and when you listen to a Hindi song it sounds so much like Bollywood. I don't know how he achieves that – it's really tough. One should know both the cultures by heart to bring out this kind of perfection." Dhanush's co-star in Raanjhanaa, Sonam Kapoor, says Rahman has given her "an identity with his music". Rahman also composed the music of Kapoor's 2009 movie Delhi 6. "He adds life to everything he does because he is a true genius," she said. Raanjhanaa is due for release on June 21. – IANS

Sushant says life after Kai Po Che! has changed and he now receives better scripts. "I feel good. The scripts I was being offered before Kai Po Che! and the ones I am getting now are very different and I am very excited." Singh Rajput is currently shooting two films, Rajkumar Hirani's Peekay and a yet-to-be-titled Yash Raj Films project. – IANS
