Shia LaBeouf hit the Berlin Film Festival in memorable style on Sunday, first walking out of a press conference for the film Nymphomaniac Volume I and then wearing a paper bag over his head at the red-carpet premiere. The actor posed for photographers in a tuxedo – and a paper bag with eyeholes and the words "I am not famous anymore" written across it. The unconventional attire came shortly after the star walked out of a press conference with Uma Thurman and Christian Slater to promote Lars von Trier's film. A reporter's question as to whether the actors were worried about the film's explicit scenes elicited the response: "When the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much." He then walked out. LaBeouf's line was borrowed from the French football player Eric Cantona, who baffled reporters with it in the mid-1990s following his suspension for a flying kick on a heckler. LaBeouf has come under fire for borrowing dialogue and storyline for his short film, Howard Cantour.com, which closely resembled a 2007 graphic novel by Daniel Clowes. – AP
Monga and Johar team up for The Intouchables remake
After The Lunchbox, the filmmakers Karan Johar and Guneet Monga have teamed up to produce the Hindi remake of the 2011 French comedy The Intouchables. Monga said that she and Johar are in advanced talks with popular writers and directors to come on board. "Both Karan and I are huge fans of the film. When Yohann Comte at Gaumont offered the rights to the film, I didn't blink an eye before saying yes. It is such a privilege to be making this in tandem with the world's first studio and the most renowned studio, Gaumont," Monga said. – IANS
Sachiin Joshi in Telugu remake of Aashiqui 2
The Bollywood actor Sachiin Joshi will soon feature in the yet-untitled Telugu remake of the 2013 Hindi blockbuster Aashiqui 2. Joshi will collaborate with the Telugu producer Bandla Ganesh to produce the film through his Viking Media Production company. The rest of the cast will be finalised and the project is expected to start production soon. Joshi has also starred in the Hindi films Aazaan (2011) and Mumbai Mirror (2013). – IANS
Family affair at Beckham fashion show
Those who go to fashion shows purely for the celebrity factor would not have been disappointed on Sunday at Victoria Beckham’s New York Fashion Week show. Her husband David Beckham, accompanied by their four children, snapped selfies of himself and his toddler daughter while waiting for mum’s big moment. On the catwalk, Victoria presented a collection that was almost entirely black and white with an emphasis on ruffles and pleats. After the show, she made clear that the family won’t be moving to Miami – even though David just confirmed a few days ago that he plans to become the owner of a Major League Soccer expansion franchise there. “We’re based in London and that’s where the kids go to school,” she said. – AP
