Katy Perry is confirmed to play a UAE gig in November. The bad news? It’s invite only.
The American starlet will perform at the Dubai Airshow Gala Dinner on November 10, an event typically open to invited guests, partners and big spenders.
It won't be the first time Perry has performed at an aviation themed event in Dubai — the Roar singer headlined the FAI World Parachuting Championships Closing Ceremony in December 2012.
Perry, 30, is currently leading her Prismatic Tour in South America, until mid-October, so should arrive with all cylinders firing.
The starlet claims to be the third best-selling digital singles artist, with reported downloads of more than 80 million. Six of her singles have sold in excess of five million digital sales: Hot n Cold, California Gurls, Firework, ET, Roar and Dark Horse.
Previous acts to perform at the annual Dubai Airshow bash include Kelly Rowland and George Benson.
