Hollaphonic set sights on Euro success with new single

Dubai-based electronic music duo Hollaphonic are hoping to crack Europe with their latest single.

Dangerous features guest vocalist Vince Kidd, who found fame in the UK as a contestant on The X Factor and The Voice, where he was hand-picked by Jessie J.

The radio-friendly tune – out now – is the fourth single from Hollaphonic's forthcoming debut album, Personal Space, which is set for release on March 2.

It follows regional iTunes hits Fabric and I Don't Want it to End.

Band members Olly Wood and Greg Stainer called the new single “the opening of a new chapter” for the group, and said they hoped it would help the band break out of the UAE.

They said: “We strongly believe that this, given the right opportunity, can start a movement for the band overseas.

“Working with Vince was a great process – he’s a very chilled-out dude for someone in such demand right now, and it’s been great for us to work with each other at this stage, hopefully before things blow up.”

Hollaphonic became the first regional act to perform at Yas Arena as part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in November 2014, when they opened for trance superstar Armin van Buuren.
