The deadline is fast approaching for entires to a competition offering UAE talent the chance to perform in front of thousands of fans as part of this year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

The Yasalam Emerging Talent Competition will offer one act the opportunity to play at this year’s Beats on the Beach, a huge, annual concert held at Abu Dhabi Corniche.

Hosted as part of the F1 weekend, which this year takes place November 25-27, previous editions of the free festival have featured A-listers including Faithless, J Cole, Missy Elliot and Saad Lamjarred.

The chance to play alongside this year's yet-to-be-announced headliners is open to any act currently based in the UAE. To enter, simply submit recorded examples of your work at yasalam.ae before a deadline of September 24.

A hand-picked panel of judges will select a shortlist of finalists, who will then go through weeks of educational sessions, before a final winning act is named to perform at Beats on the Beach.

The winner of the Emerging Talent Competition will also secure a year-long residency to perform at The Village at the du Arena, before other big concerts on Yas Island.
