Award-winning rapper Bow Wow has pulled the plug on an intimate club in Dubai this weekend.
The former child star was set to appear at People by Crystal on Thursday (February 26), news which was revealed in a hasty gig announcement made only yesterday (Sunday February 22).
But shortly after midday today (Monday February 23) organisers announced the show has been postponed.
The venue cites “unforeseen circumstances” and promises that new dates will be revealed “soon”.
Spotted by Snoop Dogg at the tender age of 11, by just 13 the rapper known to his mum as Shad Moss had scored a Platinum single with Bow Wow (That's My Name). Featuring mentor Dogg, the tune went on to win Billboard's award for Rap Single of the Year.
Known at that time as Lil Bow Wow, in 2003 Moss dropped the diminutive intro to his name, and went on to release six original albums in the 2000s.
Oddly silent on the long-player front since 2009's New Jack City II, Bow Wow is set to unveil a new album on Cash Money later this year, titled Underrated.
Bow Wow has also enjoyed moderate screen success, starring in Hollywood movies Like Mike and Roll Bounce.
