The celebrity couple Bill and Giuliana Rancic mixed more business with pleasure than it seemed during their recent visit to Dubai.
Bill, an entrepreneur, motivational speaker and winner of the first season of the American version of The Apprentice, told Al Arabiya they may bring their Chicago restaurant brand RPM to Dubai.
“There’s a big food scene, which is impressive, and we’re in the restaurant business in the States, so we may see an RPM Italian restaurant in Dubai,” he told the channel.
“We were talking with some folks who have showed interest in bringing RPM over here; I think it is definitely a possibility. RPM Italian Dubai would do really well.”
Giuliana, an E! News host, told The National during an interview last week she would love to bring her G by Giuliana Rancic clothing line to the UAE.
She took baby steps toward that goal this month by launching a capsule collection of the clothes at The Beach opposite JBR as part of Dubai Shopping Festival.
“We’ll see if it’s successful,” she said.
The collection launched January 1 and is available at the shop until January 17.
During their brief time in the Emirates — Giuliana was back in Los Angeles hosting the People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night — the couple hosted the #DXBNYE event at Meydan, posting a selfie with Pharrell, the headline act, after midnight.
They also visited the penguins at Ski Dubai in Mall of the Emirates, while Bill hosted a business seminar at The Dubai Mall and Giuliana held a styling session and meet-and-greet with fans at the pop-up shop.
