An emotional Beyoncé was in tears as she and her husband Jay Z wrapped up their On the Run tour in Paris on Saturday night. "We love Paris. It's special to us because we got engaged here and this is where baby Blue was conceived," said Jay Z, referring to their 2-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. "I'm your biggest fan. I love you," a teary-eyed Beyoncé, 33, said looking to Jay Z, 44. He told the crowd: "Greatest entertainer in the world. I love her. She's my wife." The Saturday-night concert mirrored the sentiments from last month's MTV Video Music Awards, where a teary Beyoncé was joined onstage by Jay Z and Blue Ivy. Their public shows of affection follow persistent rumours surrounding the state of their marriage. They married in 2008. The Paris show was being filmed for an HBO TV special. French radio station bans Lana Del Rey

A radio station in France says it will no longer play Lana Del Rey songs after she pulled out of a private concert in Paris for its listeners – a second time. The 29-year-old was scheduled to perform in Paris's Trianon Hall to make up for a show she cancelled due to sickness in August, giving fans less than two hours' notice before the show was supposed to start. Virgin Radio said it "disapproved of this total lack of respect for the fans and was removing Lana Del Rey from its playlist". The singer's music label Polydor/Universal released a statement saying: "For medical reasons independent of our will, the artist has been forced to cancel all promotional activities planned in Europe over the coming days." – AFP

Paul McCartney joins daughter at London Fashion Week

The former Beatle Paul McCartney and his daughter, Stella, sat side by side at a catwalk show at London Fashion Week on Saturday. It was staged by Hunter Original, a brand best known for its rubber Wellington boots and headed by Stella McCartney's husband Alasdhair Willis. This was only the label's second season on the London Fashion Week circuit. It was staged at a disused indoor swimming pool. Paul McCartney arrived at the last minute and appeared cheerful, posing with his daughter and smiling mischievously for the cameras. After the show, asked if he enjoyed it, he replied: "Terrific", with a grin. – AP
