The highlight of last night's show in Heroes at Abu Dhabi's Crowne Plaza hotel was the middle set by an ascerbic British comedian, Mike Gunn. In predictably poor taste, he joked that he had money but needed to wait for his parent to pass on to claim it.
"Every time my dad buys something, I think 'I don't want that!'"
The tour, which features Gunn's fellow Brits Justin Moorhouse and Paul Sinha, moves on to Dubai with shows tonight and tomorrow night at Movenpick JBR.
