Alicia Keys says rest is key for a powerful voice

Alicia Keys says good old fashioned rest is the best way to take care of your voice. The RnB star’s gave the advice to aspiring singers from Morocco’s Mawazine Festival where she recently performed.

“You should definitely get as much sleep as you can,” she said. “You should warm up, wrap it up or steam it if its its cold. Basically look after it because if you want to sing all powerful you need to sing it from all the right places. This also took me a long time to learn but it is worth it as it will make your voice last a long time.”
