Nationwide – New movie
Jackie Chan stars in the film Railroad Tigers as a railroad worker in China, in 1941, who leads a team of unarmed freedom fighters to ambush a train and outwit heavily armed Japanese soldiers to get food for their starving countrymen. Action, also starring Zitao Huang, Jaycee Chan and Kai Wang.

Dubai – Art exhibition
See the exhibition Almost Home by Amir H Fallah, whose new body of works reflect on the idea of belonging outside of one's country of origin. Working deeply from his own experience, the artist presents a series of signature-style landscapes and portraits that reference floral Persian ornamentation and the Iranian-American immigrants who have not returned to their homeland in several decades.

Dubai – Kids’ camp
Children, ages 8 to 16, can learn a creative technique each day at the Tashkeel Summer Camp, including calligraphy, screen-printing, woodwork, acrylic painting, collage and mixed-media. Younger children, ages 4 to 7, can take part in the camp’s Story Time, which features picture books being read aloud, in English the first week and in Arabic the second week, followed by themed crafts.
