Swimming festival

Tomorrow is the last day to register to take part in the Abu Dhabi Swimming Festival sponsored by Daman ActiveLife. The event is open to individuals, families, teams and clubs with racecourses in various distances, as well as fun post-swim activities. The festival is held in conjunction with the Abu Dhabi leg of the FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup which takes place in six countries.

The Color Run returns to the capital. Performance

The NSO Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrew Berryman, will present Hansel & Gretel, Humperdinck's fully staged opera in the musical style of Wagner. It features the mezzo-soprano Louise Merrifield as Hansel and the soprano Julia Teal Kermott as Gretel, along with a full cast of 80 Abu Dhabi resident children in the gingerbread chorus, witch's dance and angel ballet.
