The sofa from 'Friends' is coming to Dubai

The famous piece of furniture is going on a world tour, stopping off at the Burj Khalifa

The majority of millennials have lost hours watching, and rewatching Friends. And it's likely that they have daydreamed about spending lazy days with their own friends at Central Perk, relaxing on the famed orange sofa.

Well, this month UAE residents can make that dream a reality when the TV show's sofa – or couch, as our American friends would say – comes to Dubai as part of a world tour.

On September 16, it has been reported by American media that a replica of the famous piece of furniture will be here in the UAE, popping up at Burj Khalifa. So, you can make like Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey and Ross until the anniversary event ends on Wednesday, October 16. The tour is taking place to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the sitcom, and also stops of in Edinburgh, Sydney and Tokyo, among other cities.

The show first aired on September 22, 1994, and was on for 10 seasons, ending on May 6, 2004. The sofa was pretty much the seventh member of the gang, sorry Gunther.
