Image Nation has announced the main cast for its upcoming Emirati legal drama, Justice.
Dominated by local talent, the cast includes Iftah Ya SimSim's Fatima Al Taei and Zinzana's Mansoor Al Feeli in the lead roles.
They are supported by fellow Emirati Abdualla bin Haider, Syrian actress Neven Madi (Seashadow), Lebanese star Carlos Azar (Al Layla El Akhira), and Saudi actor Khaled Al Buraiki (Nas W Nas).
The Arabic-language show tells the story of a young Emirati lawyer embarking on a career as she struggles to step out of the shadow of her father, a leading legal figure in the UAE.
Twenty one-hour episodes are being filmed in Abu Dhabi. The legal drama is the biggest TV series ever set and filmed in the UAE, with more than 70 production crew members, 200 actors and about 1,000 extras.
“I am happy to be a part of this great production,” Al Taei said. “My character, Farah, is an incredible character to play. She is a great role model and it’s fantastic to see strong female Emiratis depicted on television. This show is testament to how far the UAE has come, not only in the media industry, but the country as a whole.”
