Lebanese actress Nadine Nassib Njeim has said she and husband Hadi Asmar are divorcing, but that the two are separating on good terms.
"The decision has not been easy on us and separation is difficult no matter what the reasons are," she wrote in Arabic on her Twitter account on Saturday. "Hadi and I are friends and will remain united forever," she wrote adding that they will continue to be respectful of each other.

Njeim and Asmar married in 2012 and have two children together, Heaven and Giovanni.
Njeim, who has more than nine million followers on Instagram, is active across her social media accounts. Fans have been quick to send messages of support to the actress.
Today, the 35-year-old celebrity is one of Lebanon's most prominent actresses. On Sunday, she received the Best Actress award at the Arab Satellite Festival for her role in Lebanese drama Khamsa W Nos, which was one of the most popular television series to air during the month of Ramadan this year.
