Theatre in wartime: striking photos of 'Three Stories' in Damascus, Syria

Syrian actor, comedian and presenter Ayman Zeidan has this summer been working behind the scenes.

The star directed play Three Stories, which showcased at Damascus's al-Hamra Theatre this month, and tells real-life tales from Syrians affected during the war. Zeidan worked with author Mahmoud Jaafouri to adapt work from Stories to be Told by Argentine writer and theatre director Oswaldo Dracon,

The play starred Hazem Zaidan, Mazen Abbas, Lama Badour, Qusay Kudsieh and Khoshenav Zaza.
