Russell Peters to return to Dubai with two gigs in January

The Indo-Canadian comedian will return to the Emirates for the first time since performing in the UAE in 2013. The comic has two shows scheduled for Dubai.

Indo-Canadian comedian Russell Peters will return to the Emirates with his new Almost Famous World Tour for two shows in January.

Peters, who was ranked as one of the top 10 highest grossing comics in the United States five years in a row from 2009, will be performing at the Dubai World Trade Centre on January 19 and 20.

Peters performed in the UAE in 2013 and also brought his Notorious World Tour to Abu Dhabi in 2012, with tickets for shows being sold out in record time.

The comedian’s new tour, set up by du Live!, Flash Entertainment and Live Nation Middle East will feature new material and Peters’ signature improv session.

The Almost Famous World Tour will also feature Russell's Official Tour DJ, New York City's DJ Spinbad, as well as video cameras and screens for an up-close and intimate show setting.
