Get ready for a night of laughs with DXB Comedy Fest.
The evening features nearly a dozen comedians ranging from Africa, the Middle East and South East Asia and will be held on Thursday, April 17 at Dubai's Dusit Thani hotel.
Leading the colourful bill is Eric Omondi. With over 2.5 million Instagram followers, the Kenyan is one of the continent's biggest comic talents and he is also as the president of Comedy Africa. His UAE show is part of a greater regional tour that will see him make his debut Egyptian performance, a week earlier, in Cairo on Friday, April 10.
Joining him on the Dubai bill is Loyiso Gola. After building a strong career in his native South Africa, including winning the Best Breakthrough Comedy Act at the 2007 South African Comedy Awards, the charming performer has been building a steady fan base recently in the UK, courtesy of high profile television slots and comedy festivals.
Representing the region are up and coming acts, such as the UAE's very own Abz Ali and Saudi Arabia's Mishal. They will be accompanied by India's Yash and three Nigerian comics Policy, Pappy and Senator Comedian.
DXB Comedy Fest tickets are Dh100 and are now on sale from dubai.platinumlist.net
