Saeed Saeed caught up with the 7 Days star ahead of his RedFestDXB 2018 performance

Craig David spoke to The National's Saeed Saeed ahead of his performance at RedFestDXB 2018.

The 7 Days hit-maker has become a UAE staple courtesy of his (at least) annual DJ-ing gigs.

However, this time the 36-year-old is playing live on the back of his latest album The Time Is Now.

Reflecting on his five year break from making albums, David said: "It feels like I'm back to the kid who was making music, not the music business.

"When you take the business part off and it goes back to just music, that's what makes memories for people."
