As if Formula 1 weekend wasn’t busy enough, it’s just been announced that Mohammed Assaf will return to play a free concert at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall in Abu Dhabi on November 24.

The former Arab Idol will perform a special gig from 7.30pm onwards between Al Mandoos Jewellery and Bodyshop for a capacity crowd at the mall in Baniyas East.

“We are happy to host his concert and hope that the audience enjoys his performance as much as we will. We are expecting a capacity turnout and we hope that every person here walks out with a tear, a smile and an aspiring wish,” said Jean Pierre Nammour, Mall Managing Director.

The 28-year-old was just in Dubai for a special appearance at Fiesta De Los Muertos. He was also spotted enjoying other activities in the emirate after his gig. Before that, he was at a meet and greet at Oasis Mall.

The singer, who is known as Al Saroukh (The Rocket), just released a second album, Ma Wahashnak.
