The biennial Dubai Airshow just got bigger with the announcement that Jennifer Lopez will headline its exclusive gala dinner.
The 48-year-old pop singer and actress will take to the stage to perform a smattering of her greatest hits on November 15, only two days before her near sold out concert at the Dubai Autism Rocks Arena.
The location for this year’s invite only gala dinner is yet to be announced. The previous dinner in 2015 was held on the grounds of Atlantis the Palm and featured US pop-star Katy Perry.
“By inviting such an internationally recognised star, we are affirming the significance of the Dubai Airshow on the world aviation stage and it allows Dubai Airports, Emirates and Dubai Duty Free to thank its valued VIP guests and partners for their support,” said Dubai Airports’ CEO, Paul Griffiths said in a statement.
JLo joins a growing list of stellar artists performing relatively intimate sets at the Dubai Airshow. The list includes the likes of Sir Tom Jones, Diana Ross, and Stevie Wonder.
