Ed Sheeran has collaborated with Andrea Bocelli for an orchestral version of Perfect, a song from his latest album Divide. Originally composed by Sheeran on an acoustic guitar, the song was arranged into an orchestral version by the singer's brother, Mathew Sheeran, a classical composer.

Upon hearing the song, Sheeran told ET Canada in an interview that, he immediately thought "this sounds like it needs someone like Andrea Bocelli to sing on it". Bocelli, who sings his verses in Italian, says that he came to know and love the song through his sons, Amos and Matteo, who are great fans of Sheeran's music.

You can catch a glimpse of Amos and Matteo in a YouTube video of the song’s recording, which took place at Bocelli’s Tuscan villa. Sheeran is still wearing a cast on his arm following a bicycle accident in October, as a result of which Sheeran had to cancel multiple tour dates in Asia; he was still able to perform in Dubai in November, though.
