Spotted: Angelica Panganiban and Coco Martin filming 'Love or Money' in Dubai souq

The Filipino actors were seen strolling around Deira, shooting scenes for their upcoming film

Filipino superstars Angelica Panganiban and Coco Martin are in Dubai filming their latest movie Love or Money. 

The film's distributor Star Cinema shared photos of the pair filming in Deira's souqs, making it clear that Dubai will be a key location in the movie, which is currently slated to be screened at the Metro Manila Film Festival in April.

Behind the camera, Mae Czarina Cruz is directing the film: she's known for her work across many TV shows, and for 2015 Kathryn Bernadro-starring hit Crazy Beautiful You.

From the photos shared and the clothes worn by the actors, it looks like Panganiban plays a successful professional in the film.

It's unclear how long the film's Dubai shoot will last, but Panganiban shared an Instagram story from Emirates business class on Saturday, and wrote that she will be "working overseas for the next couple of days", suggesting the shoot will last days rather than weeks.

Her co-star Martin was spotted walking through Dubai Airport donning a face mask as a precaution against coronavirus, and was interviewed while leaving the airport. He said he was looking forward to meeting fellow Filipinos while in Dubai: "It's not a vacation. It's for work, but I hope I have the opportunity to see my kababayans [fellow Filipinos] and see how they're doing, and see the sights somehow."

In regards to travelling due to the coronavirus, he said he was "cautious" but not "scared" because "God is looking out for us".

He said he was particularly excited about this film because Panganiban "is such a good actress" and because it's been a lifelong dream of his to be in a film that is part of the Manila Film Festival.
