Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has welcomed senior officials from Abu Dhabi to the set of his latest film <em>Tiger Zinda Hai</em>, which is currently being shot in the capital. The film is a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster<em> Ek Tha Tiger</em> and co-stars Katrina Kaif. In conjunction with twofour54 and Yash Raj Films, the tour was attended by Sheikh Abdulla Bin Mohamed Al Hamed, Chairman of Energy Authority and a member of the Executive Council; Dr Fahad Matar Al Neyadi, Director General of the General Secretariat of the Executive Council / Board Member; Saif Al Hajeri, Chairman of Department of Economic Development and a member of the Executive Council; Mohamed Najm Al Qubaisi, Director at the Office of His Highness Vice Chairman of the Executive Council; Humaid Al Mansoori, Director of the Government Communication Office of the GSEC in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Maryam Al Mheiri, chief executive of twofour54 and Abu Dhabi’s Media Zone Authority. “Abu Dhabi has been home to some of the world’s biggest grossing productions of all time, attracting major Hollywood and Bollywood feature films as well as popular Arabic TV shows,” says Al Mheiri. "It was a great pleasure to accompany representatives from various leading Abu Dhabi entities on a fascinating tour of the <em>Tiger Zinda Hai </em>set, and to host Salman Khan in the capital. The making of <em>Tiger Zinda Hai</em> has been another successful production process and we are looking forward to the film's release later this year."
