View From the Region to showcase works from the Arab world at Pro Art Gallery

Pro Art Gallery will present presents the exhibition View From the Region, which will feature works by the sculptor Jamal Al Suwaidi, who focuses on calligraphy and nature, and the photographer Anas Al Deeb, who will showcase black-and-white images of local fishermen.

“Our culture and heritage have been a source of my inspiration,” Al Suwaidi says. “Forms and subjects such oil, pearls, calligraphy, rhythm and sound inspire almost all of my work.” He also says he like combining letters with other forms of nature with the aim of sharing the beauty of his language with others.

Al Deeb has been working on his photography series Working Time for three years and captures the scenes of fishermen working in the region.
