Indian art from the greatest masters to the emerging talents is on display this weekend in Dubai's Capital Club. Curated by two art aficinados Jessie Shrimali and Daxa Khandwala, the aim of the exhibition is to promote Indian art globally. Called BE de art xpert it is an attempt to bring selective artists and art works from India and beyond and giving them an international platform.

“BE de art xpert is an art exhibition like no other,” Khandwala says. “This is a unique opportunity created for artists and art connoisseurs to come together and enjoy exclusive works of art, as also bring art buyers and collectors to the shows. This is our first attempt to bring this kind of art works to Dubai, and we are confident of its success, given the region’s understanding and affinity to art.”

Shrimali added that every artist should get an opportunity to show their work to the world and that she wanted to provide that canvas on an international scale. “We truly feel that good work should be showcased and this is where our exhibition takes centre stage. Our visitors are assured the chance of discovering art to suit all budgets and the wide variety on show ensures something to suit every taste as well.”

* BE de art xpert is open today from 3pm to 10pm and tomorrow (Saturday May 31) between 11am and 10pm at the Capital Club in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC)
