The Empty Quarter, one of Dubai’s leading photography galleries will be launching a new branch in Jeddah later this year. Co-founded by Reem Al Faisal, a keen photographer in her own right and a member of the Saudi royal family, the new gallery will add to Jeddah’s growing importance as a centre for contemporary art and will also complement the programming of the existing Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) space.
