Mid-career artists and collectives from the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia are reminded that the deadline to apply for the 2017 Abraaj Group Art Prize is Thursday.
There is no age restriction for the prize, and interested artists should have participated in exhibitions and produced significant bodies of work within the last three years. Applications should propose new and imaginative works in any media that define this point in their career.
The winner will receive a $100,000 (Dh367,000) prize to create a new work to be revealed at Art Dubai 2017. Three shortlisted artists will receive $10,000 (Dh36,700) and will present works alongside the winner in the Abraaj Group Art Prize Exhibition.
Art Dubai is set to take place from March 15-18, 2017.
