The work of German photographer Andreas Denstorf is going on show in Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace this week. The photography could be described as digitally abstract, with several frames overlaid to create surreal images full of colour and light. He calls his technique Platux, which is a combination of the philosopher Plato and lux, the Latin word for light. The images feature some from the UAE and several from around the world.
Flamboyant Impressions is hosted in collaboration with Swiss Art Gate UAE and runs until March 4 at Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. To view the show, you need to make an appointment so send an SMS to 0502251783.
