The newly designed waterfront district Hidd Al Saadiyat, on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, will host its first architecture-meets-arts show this month.
Titled ARTitecture, the exhibition at Hidd Al Saadiyat's show villas is inspired by the intersection of modern architectural design and contemporary arts.
It aims to create a platform of exchange between prominent Emirati artists, such as Khuloud Al Jabri, Mohamed Al Mazrouei and Mohamed Aboulnaga, and local and regional talent, including Fatima Lootah, Raouf Al Rifai, and Sarwan Baran, Zahed Tajeddin and Safa Al Rawwas.
Hidd Al Saadiyat combines Mediterranean and modern Arabic designs with an enclave of architect villas, apartments, a five-star resort, leisure and sports facilities, A cultural district, and an educational institution.
