Maraya Art Centre opened their new exhbition A Burgeoning Collection, which includes works from 30 local and regional artists and designers, commissioned for Maraya Art Centre alongside other works for 1971 - Design Space at Flag Island in Sharjah. Charting the progress of the Maraya Art Centre since its inception, this exhibition is an important as it showcases a selection of the works created to date for the centre. It also features work from resident artist Zeinab Al Hashemi. The exhibition opening last week was attended by Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq).
