The catalogue is out for the next edition of the Ayyam Gallery’s Young Collector’s Auction.

Featuring sixty-seven lots, the auction will present both emerging and established Middle Eastern artists and is a good chance for anyone interested in starting a collection to begin. This year, the proceeds from the first ten lots from the Ayyam show Apex Generation of Syrian art, will go towards helping Syrian refugees in Lebanon and Jordan.

The auction will also bring forth seminal works by Arab modernists such as Fateh Moudarres, Ismail Fattah, Paul Guiragossian, and Naim Ismail and highlights of the contemporary section include a sculpture by Nadim Karam, whose Spring Burst Cloud (2013) is up for grabs. Other sculptures in bronze and marble by acclaimed Syrian artists like Mustafa Ali and Fadi Yazigi are also in the catalogue as well as work from Athier Mousawi’s Man of War series. Under the umbrella of digital art and photography, a young generation of talents such as Mohammad Badr and Marwa Adel will be showcased next to acclaimed Iranian artist Alireza Fani with deeply spiritual, socially engaged, and poetically whimsical works.

The catalogue is available in PDF format online or hard copies can be collected from any one of Ayyam Gallery’s locations - in DIFC and in Alserkal Avenue. You can bid in person or register for telephone and absentee bids online via www.ayyamgallery.com/auctions.
