A City In Time: a 24-hour exhibition

A 24-hour exhibition of photographic images that embody geometric patterns, architecture and the mechanics of the passing of time will be opening in The Empty Quarter DIFC tonight.

To celebrate the launch of the watch brand Parmigiani Fleurier’s Tonda Metro Collection in Dubai, the gallery have put together an exclusive one-off exhibition called A City in Time.

Featuring four photographers, the city of Dubai is captured in time with a focus on images from unusal angles or capturing views not normally seen.

Daniel Cheong, is known for his almost magical cityscapes, Almoutassim Al-Maskery is a young Omani photographer who shoots reportage for the Associated Press in Dubai and has exhibited in Sharjah Art Museum, Alisdair Miller is a celebrated black and white image-taker and Sarah Abudawood, a Saudi photographer is exhibiting in Dubai for the first time.

* A City in Time opens tonight at The Empty Quarter in Dubai International Financial Centre at 7.00pm
