Abu Dhabi’s Jewellery & Watch competition Ebda’a is now open

Budding jewellery designers listen up, the 23rd edition of the International Jewellery & Watch Show (JWS) in Abu Dhabi is back and so is its annual competition. Ebda'a, the national jewellery design competition 2016 is now open for applications by clicking here and will be a feature of JWS which takes place from 5-9 May at ADNEC.

The competition is open to aspiring designers and professionals who are aged 18 and upward and residents of the UAE. There are three categories, daywear/casual, eveningwear and contemporary traditional jewellery. Each section’s winner will receive an award from mentor and competition judge Emirati jewellery designer Azza Al Qubaisi, a course in professional jewellery design by IGI School of Gemology and the chance to exhibit their pieces at JWS.The overall winner will be flown to Las Vegas, courtesy of Reed Exhibitions, to showcase their work at JCK 2016, dubbed the jewellery industry’s leading trade show worldwide.

All applications must be submitted by 20th April 2015.
