Race fans, start your engines and head to Yas Island fast if you want to snap up the last remaining tickets for the Etihad Airways Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Only 1,500 tickets are left, and organisers are predicting a record crowd of 55,000 fans.

“We are well on our way to our fifth consecutive sell-out, which will be a tremendous achievement for both us and the wider Abu Dhabi community,” said Richard Cregan, chief executive of Yas Marina Circuit.

This year’s race weekend runs from November 1-3 and offers ticket-holders entry to four after-race concerts featuring Arabic stars Amr Diab, Elissa, and Hussain Al Jasmi on Thursday; rap star Jay-Z on Friday; rock band Muse on Saturday and electronic band Depeche Mode on Sunday.

Tickets for the race are available for seats in the Marina and South Grandstands. They may be purchased at Yas Marina Circuit, by phone at the Circuit’s call centre (800 Yas) or online at www.yasmarinacircuit.com.
