Hollywood hearthrob Zac Efron has been revealed as the newest brand ambassador for Hugo by Hugo Boss.

The actor and producer will be the face of a new campaign, out in the New Year, for the brand’s signature male fragrance, Hugo Man. According a release from the brand, Efron, who shot to fame as Troy Bolton in the Disney Channel original movie High School Musical, will kickstart “a digital-focused and multi-faceted campaign set to encourage younger generations to act on their passions and achieve their goals”.

Efron broke the news via his official Twitter account yesterday, writing: “Hey guys - I’m excited to reveal that I will be fronting the new Hugo man campaign next year - check it out! #BlueSteel #YourTimeIsNow”.

One of the brand’s most iconic scents, Hugo Man mixes spicy woody notes with lighter, more refreshing aquatic notes and the unexpected but umistakable scent of apples.
